Instituto Nebrija Indonesia is part of Institutos Nebrija, an international network of educational centers
devoted to teaching Spanish Language, based at the Nebrija University in Madrid, Spain.
It was created in 2018 with headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In 2021, Institutos Nebrija Indonesia specialized its educational offer on online courses.
Since then it has expanded its activity to other countries in the area,
such as Singapore and Malaysia, and has reached thousands of students.

Who was Antonio Nebrija?
Antonio de Nebrija (1444 – 1522) was the most influential Spanish humanist of his era.
He was the author of the Spanish Grammar (Gramática castellana, 1492)
and the first dictionary of the Spanish language (1495).
His grammar is the first published grammar study of any modern European language,
and was key in the expansion of the Spanish language and culture all over the world.
